Meet Allison
Allison’s Fitness Story
Allison Hardman is owner and instructor at All Fit Personal Training. She attended Douglas College and holds certificates in BCRPA Personal Training and Weight Training.
Allison fell in love with fitness while she was raising kids and exercising with friends to stay connected. She soon began running 10k and half marathon races and was inspired to pursue fitness when she discovered outdoor boot camps. She felt renewed and excited by the prospect of taking exercise and fitness to the next level - the competition and challenge left her feeling stronger and more capable than she ever thought possible.
Allison’s Health Story
When Allison began suffering from low back pain and incontinence, it set her on a path in search of answers. She began learning more about the pelvic floor, core strength, stability and the power of breath. She learned to reconnect and retrain her core so that she could move freely and confidently. These new understandings led Allison to become a Certified Core Confidence Specialist so that she could help others heal in the same way that she did. Allison knows that a strong stable core is the foundation to all fitness, strength, and sustainable lifelong movement. She believes that fitness is a lifelong relationship and aims to help others make that relationship a long and healthy one.
Allison’s Personal Story
Allison is 57 years young and was born and raised in Coquitlam, BC. She moved to Chilliwack almost 2 years ago when she retired from the Coquitlam Public Library to be closer to her grand babies. Retirement for Allison means more time to focus on loved ones and her love for health and fitness. All Fit Personal Training is Allison’s passion project. She believes in life-long learning and believes that there is no end date to fitness; we all want to move well for as long as we can.
Since moving to Chilliwack, Allison has worked at the Chilliwack Family YMCA as a PT and Fitness Leader where she taught group classes, the T.I.M.E program and Older Adult Fitness Classes.
Allison feels most alive when she is outside Paddle boarding, hiking, cycling, walking, and chasing and playing with her grandkids.
